Information regarding the Post-Graduate Education Unit
The post-Graduate Education Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, (Prince of Songkla University), is responsible for management, (specialized doctors) training, and managing the Post-Graduate Education curriculums. The specialized doctors training program aims to train doctors to be specialized in each field. The training is 3 – 4 years long. Our unit is responsible for asking for approval of launching the training program, residency recruitment advertisement, training, seminars, training at other institutes, orientation, resignation, consulting, and training efficiency controlling and investigation.
In 1985, the Faculty launched the first specialized doctors training program in Pediatrics. Currently, there are 38 fellowship training programs opened.
